Montessori held an unforgettable event on the 17th of December, celebrating the honor and beauty of the Kurdistan Flag. Students were wearing traditional Kurdish Clothes and also raising the flag of Kurdistan. The flag of Kurdistan represents its history with its colors. White represents peace and equality for the region. Red symbolizes the blood of the martyrs who have perished in the continued struggle for freedom. Green expresses the natural beauty and landscapes of Kurdistan. Green is also a symbol of life and vitality for the region's people.
